Bill was born July 16, 1948 in McCrory to Billy M. and Alyce Marie (Sumler) House. He grew up in Jacksonville, AR. After 26 years of dedicated employment, he retired from Truman Arnold Companies as Terminal Manager of Arkansas Terminaling & Trading.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Ronnie Wayne House.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Peggy (Giffin) House; one daughter and son-in-law, Melody and Dwayne Morris of Sherwood; one son, Scott House of Sherwood; and his priceless three grandchildren, Caleb Morris, Tyler and Sadie House. He is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law, Jimmy and Donna House of Vilonia and sister-in-law, Mary Jo House, of Jacksonville; and several cousins, nieces and nephews and a multitude of close friends thought of as family, and his closest friend since childhood, Roger “Bubba” Mays.
Bill was an avid hunter, fisherman and the ultimate life-long Arkansas Razorback fan. He loved family gatherings, camping with his buddies and family, and any event his grandchildren were involved in. He will be missed by many, but we will cherish the memories of him we have forever.
Visitation will be Thursday, October 21 from 5-7pm at Rest Hills Funeral Home.
Service will be Friday, October 22 at 2pm in the Chapel at Rest Hills Funeral Home.
CASUAL CLOTHES AND RAZORBACK ATTIRE IS ENCOURAGED.
