Carmon Ann Feltnor

In her young adulthood, she lived in Lompoc, California and was blessed with two children, Warren and Monna. Carmon married her late husband, Harold Feltnor, on December 24, 1970; and he was proud to raise her children as his own. She was proud of both her children and the joy they brought throughout each stage of life.

After Carmon's children married and moved away, she followed her daughter soon after to Missouri. It was there where she spent many years being a devoted grandmother to Kyle and Danielle. Many memories were made and continue to be cherished. As a grandmother, she was always there when you needed a shoulder to cry on and life advice... Or a shopping spree!

Carmon worked in retail throughout her life, and loved shopping. Anything holiday themed or sparkly had to come home with her. She loved going down every aisle and picking out trinkets to surprise the people she loved. She was always thinking of others and how to make them smile.

In later years, she lived with her son in Dallas-Fort Worth, Texas. Carmon spent her time listening to live music and volunteering with her son at the Texas State Fair. After her son passed away, she moved to Florida and then Arkansas to be near her daughter and son-in-law, with whom she loved attending dinner theatres and shopping.

She will be remembered for her quick wit and sense of humor that can make anyone laugh; the way her presence lights up a room; and having a zest for life all the way until the end. Carmon is loved and will be remembered by many.

Carmon Ann Feltnor is survived by her eldest daughter and son-in-law, Monna and Russell Tallman; grandchildren, Kyle Tallman, Danielle Jones and grandson-in-law, Eric Jones; and great-grandchildren, Eleanor and Xander Tallman. She was preceded in death by her parents Winford and Dorothy Tommy; husband, Harold Feltnor; and son, Warren Harris.

Carmon Ann Feltnor will be laid to rest at Fort Leavenworth National Cemetery with her late husband, Harold Feltnor; and son, Warren Harris.
