Catherine M. Loescher, age 89, passed away on Friday, September 15, 2003 in Fayetteville, Arkansas. She was born October 29, 1933 in El Paso, Texas to Mr. and Mrs. Harold H. Lawrence. She is the oldest child in a family of eight children. She is survived by two brothers and four sisters, Catherine was a widow of Carl E. Loescher. She was predeceased by her two oldest children,
Annette Gesterling and Lester Carrales.
She is survived by four children, Deborah Carrales, Rhonda Barry, Tina Hodnik (David), Randy Carrales, and her son-in-law, Charles Gesterling. Catherine found great joy in her 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Catherine was involved in both the Girl Scouts of America and Boy Scouts as she raised her children. She worked for Tyson Foods for many years. In their retirement she and her husband traveled extensively across the United States. She was an avid crafter all her life. In her senior years she was very active at her local community center in Jacksonville, Arkansas where she formerly resided for the previous 20 years before moving to Fayetteville. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Private Services will be provided by Griffin Leggett Rest Hills and Memorial Park in North Little Rock, AR.
