Charles Ellis Turley, Jr., 94, of Little Rock passed away peacefully on June 15, 2020. He was born August 28, 1925 in Forest City, Arkansas to the late Charles Ellis Turley Sr. and Nora Coffey Turley. Charles was preceded in death by his wife of 64 years, Mary Ball Turley, and son-in-law Dennis Grubbs. He is survived by his children, Nona Turley Grubbs and Chuck (Sherry) Turley of Little Rock , his grandchildren Christopher (Kaitlyn) Grubbs of Fayetteville, Brittani (Danny) Sellers of Cave Springs, Brandon (Becca) Turley of Little Rock, great grandsons Grayson and Cooper Sellers of Cave Springs, as well as his brother-in-law Barry(Ann) Ball and sister-in-law Vivian Mahan.
He was a World War II Navy veteran serving aboard the USS Houston and USS Siboney. Charles was a long-time member of the Geyer Spring United Methodist Church.
Private family services are scheduled for Thursday, June 18 at Pinecrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, a contribution to Geyer Springs United Methodist Church Food Bank would be appreciated.
