

David John Mizda, 68, of Little Rock, AR, passed away on February 4, 2026. He was born on May 14, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio, to Julius Elmer Mizda and Margaret Hana Mizda. David worked for Standard Business Systems as a manager over the parts department, where he developed great friendships with all the employees and was considered part of the family. He enjoyed gardening and designed a beautiful backyard, including a pond and the most beautiful plants and flowers. In his leisure time, he built and strategically painted model cars, even using special glasses to ensure every detail was correct. David inherited a special gift from his mother, cross-stitching, and made stockings for all the kids in his family with their names cross-stitched at the top, a treasure that will be cherished forever.
David is preceded in death by his parents, and great nephew, Robert Brandon Merryman. He is survived by his loving wife, Linda Mizda; sister, Mary Jane (Mike) Rebick; one brother, Carl (Michele) Mizda; nieces and nephews, Amy, Michael, Julia, Adam; numerous great nieces and nephews.
A Visitation and Rosary will be held at Rest Hills Funeral Home in North Little Rock on Monday, February 9, 2026, from 2 PM - 6:00 PM, with Rosary from 5:30 - 6 PM. Funeral Mass Service will be Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at 1:00 PM at St. Andrews Cathedral, 617 S Louisiana Street, Little Rock, AR, with Father Joseph officiating. Burial will immediately follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park in North Little Rock at 3:00 PM.
