Deborah was born to Chester and Linda Bates on October 9, 1952. She is preceded in death by her father Chester Bates, mother Linda Bates, sister Annette Ellis, and brother Gene Bates. She leaves behind her daughter Jessica (Todd), daughter Misty, son Jeff. As well as several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. All of them she loved dearly. She started doing hair at 19 years old and has been doing hair for 50 years. Starting out at Blackwood’s then to Shirley’s and finally settling in a Classic Cutters. She did her last hair cut on February 15, 2022. Deborah put up a brave fight against Clear Cell Renal Cell Carcinoma. She gained complete healing and her wings on July 6, 2022 @ 2:32pm surrounded by loved ones. Her family would like to give a special thanks to Cavalier Healthcare of England, Affinity Hospice, and Landmark Baptist Church of England.
