He was a child of the US military and lived all over the world as a boy. He was particularly fond of his time in Spain where he became fluent in Spanish and developed an adventurous love for the cuisines of the world. He studied German and theater in college before becoming one of the first programmers for IBM and Norton Anti-virus. His intellect and talents were beyond measure.
He could design, build, or fix anything electronic. He was a ham radio operator, an avid pilot, motorcycle lover, moto-cross competitor, marksman, proud NRA member, boater, and remote-control plane operator/enthusiast among his many other interests and hobbies. He and his wife, Beverly, traveled the world during retirement. They loved modern jazz, Broadway shows, Las Vegas hustle & bustle, and Christmas in Times Square. He loved Christmas carols and played the jolly old elf role idyllically.
Following a brief ceremony and visitation on December 10, 2022, he will be interred at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Cemetery in North Little Rock, Arkansas, with Beverly at his side. Please pray for the repose of his soul.
Please do not send flowers, instead send in memoriam donations to St. Jude’s Children’s hospital in his and Beverly’s names.
