Donna Lou Williams, 78, of Sherwood, Arkansas, went home to be with the Lord on July 30, 2026. She was born on August 27, 1947, to James and Jurda Hutto in Damascus, Arkansas, Donna lived a life marked by faith, kindness, perseverance, and unwavering devotion to her family. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend whose generous spirit and caring heart touched all who knew her.
Donna graduated from Southside High School in 1965 and enjoyed a successful career in the banking industry. Throughout her career, she served customers and colleagues with professionalism and warmth while working for First Commercial Bank, Regions Bank, Pulaski Bank, and Iberia Bank.
A faithful member of First Baptist Church of Sherwood, Donna was actively involved in the Willing Workers Sunday School Class. Her faith was evident in the way she lived her life and cared for others. She also dedicated her time as a volunteer at the Central Arkansas Library in Little Rock, demonstrating her lifelong commitment to serving her community.
Donna found joy in reading mystery and thriller novels, collecting angel and cardinal bird figurines, and spending time with her family. Cardinals held a special place in her heart and brought her comfort and happiness. She was always willing to lend a helping hand and was known for her kindness, compassion, and selfless nature.
A proud breast cancer survivor, Donna faced life's challenges with courage, grace, and determination. Her strength and resilience were an inspiration to those who were fortunate enough to know her.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Jurda Hutto; and her brothers, Kenneth Hutto and George Hutto.
Donna is survived by her daughters, Jennifer Hilliard (Brett) and Nikki Williams; her granddaughters, Madison Hilliard (Jose) and Kinley Hilliard; her sister, Jean Holloway (Gary); her brother, Jeff Hutto (Sharon); and many beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and cherished friends.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Donna's life at Rest Hills Memorial Garden. Visitation will begin at 9:00 a.m., followed by a funeral service at 10:00 a.m., and a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Marcus Hutto officiating. Though our hearts are saddened by her passing, we celebrate a life well lived and a legacy of love, faith, strength, and service.
