

Duane Arlan Fuhrman, 84, of Jacksonville passed away on June 4, 2022. Duane was born on June 1, 1938 in Woodworth, North Dakota; the son of Theodore and Marie (Unruh) Fuhrman. He married his late wife Denise (Schwartz) Fuhrman on June 17, 1961, and they shared 45 years of marriage until her passing in 2006. Duane was a retired Master Sergeant with the United States Air Force, a career that took his family to many places all over the globe. He enjoyed tinkering with anything mechanical and attending car shows. He also enjoyed watching sporting events, with the Razorbacks and North Dakota State being among his favorites.
Duane leaves to cherish his legacy, a son Darin Fuhrman and his wife Lisa of Fairfield Bay, Arkansas, a daughter Dana Alberson and her husband Scott of Guy, Arkansas, three grandchildren Danielle Matthews and her husband Robert of Greenbrier, Arkansas, Jacob Otto and his girlfriend Natalie of Cabot, Arkansas, and Justin Randleas and his wife Brittany of Jacksonville, Arkansas, five great grandchildren Grant Wayne Matthews, Lincoln Mark Otto, and Kenzi, Ava, and Jackson Randleas. Also surviving is his sister Arlene Morton of Houston, Texas. Duane was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Denise Fuhrman, and his sisters Deloris Bullis and Janice Lahman.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 9, 2022 from 4:00 to 7:00 pm at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Funeral services will begin at 10:00 am on Friday, June 10 at the funeral home, with entombment to follow in Rest Hills Memorial Park. The family suggests in lieu of flowers, donations in Duane’s honor be made to the Arkansas Heart Hospital.
