Liz passed peacefully at her home. She was born in Armstrong Springs, Arkansas, one of eight children of Henry Batts and his wife, Annie Mary. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack, and two sons. She is survived by her children Cathy, Margie, and John, grandchildren, her sisters, Bennie and Ronnie, and many others of her extended family.
Liz graduated from Saint Vincent Infirmary Nursing School and later became a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA). She worked for Children's Hospital of Arkansas for many years and subsequently worked in private practice.
Liz was active at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church as a choir member, on the Altar Society and helped with other activities throughout the years. She also volunteered at Baptist Hospital with other community activities in Sherwood.
Liz enjoyed fishing, gardening, golfing, traveling, playing cards and dominoes, and watching the Razorbacks.
A Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled for May 3, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, North Little Rock, AR
