Ernestine Hill, passed away May 18, 2021. She was born April 1, 1939 in Little Rock, AR to the late Ernest Ussery and Mary L. Whitfield. She married James F. Hill on July 6, 1957 and was married for 50 years. Ernie volunteered for hospice making quilts and was a seamstress. She loved cooking, to garden, especially her flowers, her dog “Smokie” and most definitely loved her Hogs, WPS! She loved her family and friends dearly and never met a stranger, loved all that she met.

Ernestine is preceded in death by her parents, her husband James F. Hill and her brother Thomas “Sonny” Louis Ussery.

She is survived by her daughters: Meletha (Crickett) and husband Michael Lock of Austin, AR and their children Lily (Blaine) Couch from Vilonia, AR, Tori Campbell of Pottsville, AR, Jasmine (John) Robertson from Cabot, AR, and Jacob (Erin) Campbell of Colorado; Howletha (Howie) Smith (Gary Kent) of Jacksonville, AR and their children Zachary (Mollie Reaves) Smith of Austin, Ar, Hayley Smith of Michigan, Caleb Kent of Alabama, and David Kent of Alabama; Shannon (Steve) Goff of Judsonia, AR and their children Darren (Heather) Meharg of Judsonia, Dathan (Lacey) Meharg of Judsonia, Tresdon Meharg of Judsonia, Josh Goff of Judsonia and Derek (Crystal) Goff of Judsonia. She is also survived by her bestfriend/honorary sister, Lollie Price of McRae, AR, 21 great grandchildren, 1 niece, 3 nephews, 6 great nephew, 5 great nieces and numerous great great nieces and nephews.

Momma ernie.. i will miss you, you were a huge part of my life growing up. I know you no longer in pain, you are with grandma and dad tell them we love them. For my childhood friends i am so sorry for your loss, she was and always will be an amazing lady i hold dear to my heart. Big hugs girls she would always say... love ya momma ernie keep a close eye on us as you always had. I love ya.
