

Freda Haynie of North Little Rock, Arkansas, passed away surrounded by the love of her family on Friday, November 14, 2025. A devoted wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, Freda lived her life with a selfless heart and a joyful spirit. She was genuine, loving, and full of laughter—always smiling and always making sure everyone around her felt comfortable and cared for.
Freda married the love of her life, Kenneth Haynie, and together they shared over 50 beautiful years of marriage until his passing in 2017. Their life together was a testimony of faith, commitment, and unconditional love.
A faithful Christian woman, Freda was deeply involved in her church, Victory Missionary Baptist Church, she participated in many Bible studies and served her Lord with a humble and willing heart. Her faith guided every step she took, and she was always present for her children’s and grandchildren’s activities, cheering them on with pride.
Some of her happiest memories were made at Lake Ouachita, where she cherished time spent with family and friends. Those moments—filled with laughter, stories, and togetherness—will be treasured by all who shared them with her. She also traveled the world extensively and lived life to the fullest.
Freda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Kenneth Haynie, her mother Maxine Rauls, and her father Jack Rauls.
She is survived by her children Keith Haynie, Kevin Haynie (Stephanie), and Kara Haynie; her grandchildren Jackson Haynie (Jessica), Kaitlyn Haynie and Jessica Haynie; her brother Jackie Rauls; and her sister-in-law and close friend Linda Rauls. She is also lovingly remembered by her nephews Jason (Ginna) Rauls and J.D. (Julie) Rauls, along with many other family members and dear friends.
Freda’s legacy of love, faith, and joy lives on in the hearts of all who knew her. She will be deeply missed and forever cherished.
Service will be held at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, N Little Rock, AR on Wednesday, November 19, 2025 with visitation at 11a service to follow at 12pm, and interment at 1p. All are welcome.
