Gary Teague, beloved by friends and family , passed away on November 15, 2025, at the age of 75.He was known as “Goober” by his many friends since high school. Born on September 14, 1950, Gary was a resident of Clarkridge, Arkansas.
He worked for Union Pacific as a Conductor for 20 years, building a respected career in the rail industry. He retired in 1991 after a life changing accident.
Gary is survived by his children, Laura Jolly (Corey Taylor) of Beebe, Eddie Teague (Susan) of Fort Smith, and Travis Teague of Clarkridge.
He was a proud grandfather to Jordan Grantham, Talon Oulette, Dorben Jones, and Cameron Teague. He also leaves behind his brothers, Bob Teague (Donna) of Clarkridge and Dee Teague (Susie) of Mountain Home.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Orland Teague and Roberta Macon Teague, a brother, Michael Lee Teague, and a son, Clint Teague.
A visitation will be held on November 24, 2025, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, located at 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117. The committal will follow from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm at the same location.
