Glenn Thomas Cox, age 72, of North Little Rock, passed away October 12, 2019. He was born December 5, 1946, in Hammond, Louisiana, to Albert and Mary Emma Cox. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, A. L. “Sonny” Cox and Bob Cox, and by son Chris. Mr. Cox owned and operated Amby Barber Shop and was a member of Graves Memorial Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife of nearly 47 years, Karen Jean Cox; daughter, Melanie Black of North Little Rock; two brothers, James (Rosemary) Cox of Plaquemine, Louisiana and Marvin (Barbara) Cox of Brusly, Louisiana; sister, Patricia Bergeron of Kentwood, Louisiana; two grandchildren, Regan Black and Griffin Black of North Little Rock, and other family members. Visitation is Tuesday, October 15, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and funeral service on Wednesday, October 16, at 10:00 a.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills. Entombment will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.

Was sorry to hear about Glenn's passing. Karen and Melanie please accept my sympathies. I met Glenn and Melanie this past summer when they went to an LSU baseball game with Jim and I.

We loved him so much❤️Always joking with the girls when they were little when we would go in the barber shop and when we would see him at the Travelers games. 😁He will be missed. Love you and Melanie. Sending prayers for comfort and lots of hugs❤️
