

Harry H Kerr Jr, died April 18, 2015. He was beloved husband of Doris Jean Keen Kerr for 69 years and father of Harry III. Born to Harry H Kerr Sr and Flora Mae Penton Kerr in Montgomery Alabama on February 23, 1923. His parents, one brother, William Beacher Kerr and one sister, Mae Josephene Kerr Jennings, are all now deceased. Survivors include one son, Harry H Kerr III of Sherwood, two special nieces and several close nephews. Harry was a member of Parkhill Presbyterian Church since 1960. He was a 50 year plus member of Big Rock Masonic lodge, a founding member of Arkansas Personnel Association. He attended UALR, UA at Fayetteville and SMU at Dallas. He retired as Director of Labor Relations with Olin Chemical Stamford, Conn. after 41 years of service. He served his country twice, once in W.W.II and again in the Korean Conflict. He retired as a Capitan in 2nd Div. He was an avid golfer and boater. He served on L.R. Yacht Club board and was a member of N. Hills Country Club.
Visitation Service will be at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road NLR on Wednesday, April 22 from 5pm-7pm.
Graveside Service will be at the Arkansas Veterans Cemetery, 1501 West Maryland Ave. NLR on Thursday, April 23 at 1:00pm with military honors.
