Harry G. Sanders

Mr. Harry G. Sanders began life’s journey on September 10, 1941 in Terrell, Texas and made a heavenly transition on Thursday, July 28, 2016. He was born to the late M.C. and Lottie Mae Sanders and was preceded in death by one sister; Cecila Sanders and three brothers; Roy Lee Sanders, Freddie Joe Sanders and James Sanders. Harry professed hope in Christ at early age. He attended the Burnett High School of Terrell, Texas; he then enlisted into the USAF, retiring after twenty-two years of service. Upon moving to Arkansas he united with the St. Luke Baptist Church in NLR and later united with the St. Peter’s Rock Baptist Church where he was a dedicated member of the Brotherhood, Wednesday Night Bible Study Class, Sunday School, and Head of our Security Team. Harry leaves his devoted wife, Sylvia Sander of Jacksonville, AR; two daughters, Millicent Anderson of Sherwood, AR, and Zoretta (Calvin) Finley of Little Rock, AR; three step-children, Veeders (Yolanda) Nelson of Jacksonville, AR, Arlo Nelson of El Paso, TX and Britni Matthews of Sherwood, AR; ten grandchildren; one sister, Dorothy Sanders Wilson of Norman, OK; one sister-in-law, Dorcery Sanders of Greenville, TX and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Harry will be missed, but his memory will continue to touch the lives of those who knew and loved him.
