Helen Kay Stanfield, age 84, of Maumelle, passed away on March 13th, 2021. She was born January 11th, 1937 to Orbie Smith and Roberta Lawrence in Muskogee, Oklahoma. She married her husband, Ronald Stanfield, on June 1st, 1957 in Muskogee. Helen worked as a premium auditor before retiring.
Helen was an active member of the congregation at First United Methodist Church of Maumelle. She was also an active member at the Shepherd Center in North Little Rock. She was also an avid quilter, creating beautiful quilts in her free time. She was also a passionate sports fan, specifically baseball, basketball and football. She and her husband have been season ticket holders and supporters of the UALR Trojan basketball program for over 25 years.
Helen is survived by her husband, Ronald Stanfield and their children, Regina Stanfield, Cheryl Cate (David), and Brian Stanfield, her grandchildren, Talia Winkler, Catherine Thompson, Roberta Thompson, Laura Rheanell, William Stanfield, and Anna Stanfield, and 7 great grandchildren.
