

She was born on August 28, 1930, in Dunnavant, Ala. Helen was an excellent homemaker and businesswoman. She loved politics, traveling, cooking, collecting heirloom quilts, and Alabama Crimson Tide football. Above all, her favorite pastime was caring for her loving family. She was the best mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother anyone could hope for, leaving a legacy filled with love.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Lula Bowdoin Parker; her beloved husband of 40 years, Wayne E. Stowe; and her younger brothers, Ray (Patsy), Sydney (Janet), Rehnard (Margie), Ralph (Carolyn), and Kirby. Her graceful resilience, gentle strength, and steadfast will stand as a testament to her remarkably strong spirit.
Left to cherish her memory are her sons Ken (Eloise) of Conway and Randy (Kimberley) of Little Rock; her grandchildren, Kevin (Lora), Adam (Amanda), Rachel (Rich), and Carmel (Hunter); and her great-grandchildren Christopher, Aurora, and Chase.
The family thanks Gentiva Hospice for their guidance and care, as well as a host of family and friends who stayed connected with her over the years.
A Celebration of Iris Helen Stowe will be held Saturday October 4, 2025, at 2 p.m. at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Ark. 72117.
