Henry Daniel “Buddy” Best, age 84, of Sherwood, AR went to be with his Lord and Savior May 28, 2025. He was preceded in death by his parents, George D. Best and Betty Lee Tharp; one son, Patrick Lee Best: three sisters, Betty Jean Best Whiting Ramus, Ida Ruth Best Vansickle and Eurma Jeanell Best Shelton; and one brother, George A. Best.
He is survived by his wife, Kathryn Sue Best; one daughter, Rhonda R. Hasley (Rick) of Bartlett, TN; two sons. Elmer Allen Best (Angela) of Dardanelle, and Quinn D. Best (Sharon) of Benton; eight grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.
He was and independent mowing contractor for the Corp. of Engineers for over 40 years. He was a member of the Sherwood First Church of the Nazarene where he attended faithfully. He served as a member of the Church board and other areas when and where needed. He loved being with his family, hunting, cooking, and trips to the county place in Tichnor. He will be missed by all who knew him.
A Celebration of Buddy Best will be held Saturday, May 31, 2025, at 1:00 PM at Sherwood First Church of the Nazarene.
