He was born on December 30, 1950, in Jacksonville, Florida, to Henry C. Cameron and Billie J. Carter Cameron.
Henry proudly served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War era aboard the destroyer USS Bridget. Following his service, he began a successful career as a residential home builder in the central Arkansas area, constructing numerous homes throughout North Little Rock and Sherwood.
In March 1998, Henry transitioned into a new chapter as a Credit Counselor with Family Service Agency, where he worked until his retirement in December 2013. During those years, he helped countless individuals and families overcome financial hardship and regain stability.
Henry was a devoted Christian and a man of strong faith who loved the Lord. His greatest joy came from his family, to whom he was deeply devoted. He was known for his quick wit, easy laugh, and kind spirit. His humor and warmth made every family dinner brighter. He especially loved watching Razorback football and spending time surrounded by the people he loved most.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Chalmer and Billie Jo Cameron, and his brother, Richard Allen Cameron, all of North Little Rock.
He is survived by his loving wife, Betty Sue Cameron of Maumelle; two sons, Chris Cameron (Jenifer) and Danny Cameron, both of North Little Rock; and two grandsons, Hunter Cameron of North Little Rock and Hudson Cameron of Jacksonville.
