Henry L. Cooper, 78, of North Little Rock passed away on Saturday, September 9th. Born in Wynne, Arkansas to parents William Floyd Cooper and Jewell Mobley Cooper, Henry was a 1957 graduate of Batesville High School and attended Hendrix College for two years before transferring and graduating with a B.A. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Arkansas in 1962. He spent 30 years with Johnson and Johnson before retiring in 1994. Henry loved life; he was known for his quick smile and sarcastic sense of humor. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, and Razorback football fan, a reader who followed current events closely and a handyman who could fix anything. Most of all, he loved spending time with his family, especially at Christmas or over a good meal. He is survived by his beloved wife, Anna; daughter Catherine (Jeffrey); son Matthew (Carol) and his grandchildren, Sara Kate, Jackson, Eleanor and George. A funeral service honoring his life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, September 15th at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home and Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR.
