Hosie found steady joy in the simple, enduring gifts of life—time outdoors, the quiet patience of hunting and fishing, and the loyal companionship of his dogs. He also loved gospel music, a comfort and constant that helped shape the rhythm of his days and the memories held by those who knew him.
Hosie was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Emma Jean Jordan; and his beloved son, Mitchell Wells.
He is survived by two sons, Charles (Kim) Wells and Chris Wells; his daughter-in-law, Toni Wells; grandchildren Jacob (Kari) Wells, Lance (Breanna) Wells, Katie Wells, Kerrigan Wells, Felicity Wells, and Conlan Wells; as well as many other relatives and friends who will continue to cherish his memory.
Visitation will be held on May 16, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR 72117. A Funeral Service will follow from 12:00 pm to 1:00 pm at the same location, officiated by Pastor Roy Polk. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery in Sheridan, Arkansas, at 1:30 pm.
