Jackie Neil Rone

Jacqueline “Jackie” Neil Stuart Sullinger Rone passed away September 30, 2025. Jackie was born on September 15, 1940, in Banner, Arkansas in a small rock house her father built. Born to John Metz Stuart and Imogene Sylvia Chandler Stuart. She grew up in Banner, Arkansas and graduated from Concord High School in 1958 with honors. Moved to Memphis and married Jimmy D. Sullinger in 1959, they had 3 children, she was a stay-at-home mother and homemaker until 1972. She was employed in 1972 by Dover Elevator; she worked full time and went back to school and achieved an associate’s degree in business from Northwest Community College in 1989. She retired from Dover Elevator in 1995, divorced, and moved back to Banner, AR. In 1996 she married Warren “Buck” Rone and went to work for Julian Martin at JMAR Trucking Company where she worked until she retired permanently. After retirement, Jackie was proud to be involved in the City Council, the First Lady, and was the residing President of the Concord Community Senior Citizen Group.

Jackie is preceded in death by husband, Jackie " Buck" Rone; parents; her brother, John Stuart; and her son, Jimmy Stuart Sullinger.

She is survived by her daughter, Donna Sullinger (Keith) Sims, Marilyn Sullinger (Tim) Mayfield; and stepson, Warren (Junior) Rone; grandchildren, Daniel (Sara), Dough Barnett, William (Jessica) Sims, Neil (Emily) Mayfield, Kindalh (Michael) Hoover, Jake (Kayla) Reed, Clay (Hope) Sullinger, Chandler Sullinger; nine great grandchildren;; three sisters, Carol Jean ( Carroll) Mohlke, Jeannie Pierce, Lisa (Kevin ) Stewart; and multiple nieces and nephews.

A service will be held at the Pavilion at Mount Zion Cemetery in Banner, AR on October 11, 2025 at 2:30 PM.
