James ‘Rodney’ Freeman passed away quietly on August 9th, at Baptist Health Medical Center in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his previous wife of 58 years Odell, grandson Adam, parents Wilton and Paulene, and eight of his siblings, Herbert, Clayton, Leslie, Nora, Thema, Myra, Cody, and Evelyn.
A hard working, religious man who always provided for his family, he is survived by his daughters Ann and Connie, wife Peggy, sisters Joan, Carol, and Margie, grandchildren Aaron, Ashley, and Eric, and by his great grandchildren, Lilith, Ava, Sebastian, Oliver, and Caleb. Also a master carpenter and woodworker, his faith, generosity, and skill were known by all who were close to him.
His enduring spirit will forever remain a pillar in the hearts of his family and loved ones.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 14th at 10am at Rest Hills Memorial Cemetery in Sherwood.
