

James “Jimmy” Millard Plemmons Jr. age 59, passed away at his home on Sunday evening April 18th, 2021 in Jacksonville, Arkansas. He was born on May 21,1961 in Florida City, Florida. He was a widower since his wife’s (Pamela Jean Plemmons) death on August 4, 2009.
He was also preceded in death by his father, James Millard Plemmons Sr. He is survived by his mother Grace Virginia Plemmons, his two children Ashley Nicole Hastings and Gracie Elizabeth Davis, as well as his 5 grandkids. He was also survived by his 3 siblings Virginia (Wayne), of Alexander, AR., Paul (Betty) of Sherwood, AR, and Lois (Jonathan) of Little Rock, AR.
Jimmy used his leadership skills and knowledge of mechanics at the Union Pacific Railroad for several years of his life. Anybody that knew Jimmy would know that he dedicated his whole life to his family. He was an intelligent individual who strived at everything that he pursued in life. He liked traveling, going to concerts, and collecting unique items. He was an amazing mechanic, a great artist, athletic and very creative. He has been the “lucky caller” for radio station competitions way more than the average person.
He had a way of making everyone feel comfortable while they were around him, and was someone that could carry on a conversation with anyone. Jimmy was a stubborn man who was stubborn for all of the right reasons. Not only would he do anything to protect his family, he tried to enable all of his loved ones to succeed. He loved playing with his grandkids, and was a dedicated father. He was a survivor who will always be remembered and missed by everyone who was blessed enough to meet him before his departure from this world.
Services will be held April 24th, 2021 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, Arkansas at 2:00 Pm in the chapel.
