

Jay S. Stanley Sr., 89, of North Little Rock, Arkansas passed away on March 14, 2025. He was born on October 1, 1935, and lived his entire life in North Little Rock. Jay is survived by his devoted wife of 48 years, Terry L. Stanley; his children, Robin McGowan (Mike), Jay S. Stanley Jr. (Dawn), Doug Stanley (Kim), and Amy Wheeler (Mark); his grandchildren, Cameron Lassiter, Calen Lassiter, Sean McGowan, Jay S. Stanley III, Tatum Roach, Shelby Stanley, Phillip Stanley,and Keely Stephens; his brother, Paul Stanley; and seven beloved great-grandchildren.
For 64 years, Jay worked in audiovisuals, owning his own company for much of that time. He took great pride in mentoring employees, fostering innovation, honest service, and lasting professional relationships. His love for music led him to sing with the Second Presbyterian Church choir, as well as in operettas and quartets earlier in life. Known for his kindness, integrity, and clear-headed leadership, Jay was a trusted voice on every committee he served. Above all, he cherished his family, and his devotion to them was evident to all who knew him.

A memorial service will be held on March 31, 2025 at 11:30 at Second Presbyterian Church, 600 Pleasant Valley Drive, Little Rock, AR.
