Jeraldine Rosalee Peek

Known as Jeri to her family and friends, she was a beloved mother and grandmother. Jeri was born on January 5, 1933 in Bogalusa, LA. She began an over 40 year nursing career in New Orleans, LA in 1957, eventually retiring as a Registered Nurse in Arkansas. Always known to be a caretaker, she not only nursed her patients and her mother, but she raised her family with immense love, instilling in her children and grandchildren her love for God and family, as well as her sense of humor and adventure.

Jeri was preceded in death by her husband, John Edwin Peek, daughter, Beverly Minter, and great-granddaughter, Bethany Baker. She is survived by her son, John (Jenifer) Peek, grandchildren Kadena (Kevin) Dunn, Michon (Dwight) Holt, and Dylan Peek, along with four great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren. Her legacy will live on in all those who knew her, especially those that were privileged to call her Mom, Mama Jeri and Grandma.

Visitation will be Wednesday August 7, 2024 from 5-7 pm at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR, 72217.

Funeral Services will be Thursday August 8, 2024 at 10:00am at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow at 11:00 am at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
