Jesse G Walker, age 83, of Sherwood, Arkansas passed away on Friday, July 8, 2022. He is survived by his wife Sara Ruth Walker; son Gregg (Kenna) Walker; daughter Kristi (Brian) Harbison; 5 grandchildren, Kagan Walker, Rebecca Madding, Austin Harbison, Walker Harbison and Ethan Harbison; 2 great grandchildren, Leighton and Lillian Madding; brother Donald (Sherri) Walker; several nieces and nephews.
Jesse was predeceased by his parents, four brothers and three sisters.
Jesse was a longtime member of the Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church. He will be remembered for his generosity and for his willingness to share his faith. He was a retired educator having served thirty years as teacher, supervisor and principal. He enjoyed playing golf with his buddies.
A visitation for family and friends will be held Tuesday, July 12, 2022 from 9:30 AM to 10:00 AM at Sylvan Hills First Baptist Church, 9008 Highway 107, Sherwood, Arkansas 72120, where funeral service will follow at 10:00 AM. A committal service will follow services at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Rd, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117.
