Joseph Arvine Brown, age 43 passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025. He was born on April 5, 1981, in Jacksonville, AR to Pamela Brown and the late Stanford Brown. In addition to his father, Joey is preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and Arvine Brown, and Gerald Flippo; and aunt, Shirley Browning.
Joey was a vibrant force of nature—bossy and sassy yet endlessly caring, funny, and friendly. He never met a stranger, always ready to go the extra mile to ensure those around him felt loved and supported. Whether he was championing his kickball league, tending to his garden, cheering on the Razorbacks, or volunteering in his community, Joey poured his heart into everything he did. His zest for life was as vibrant as his eclectic taste in music, where he reveled in the timeless elegance of Diana Ross’s voice. He was equally enthralled by the captivating performances of Kathy Bates and had a love for animals that knew no limit. He was described as someone who would have gladly taken in every stray he encountered if he could. Above all, his greatest joy was making sure his family and friends were happy and secure, leaving behind memories that will continue to inspire and uplift all who knew him.
Those left to cherish Joey's memory include his mother, Pam Brown; sisters, Angie (Johnny) Finley, Mary (James) Duncan; nephews, Johnny Ryan, Cody, Dakota, Hayden, Parker, Hunter; as well as numerous beloved family members and friends.
