Born October 21, 1955, LaVerne was the proud mother of two sons, Delvin and Darius, whom she loved dearly and raised with patience, discipline, and warmth. Her commitment to their well-being and success was evident in every aspect of her life. As a mother, she was not only a guide and protector but also a constant source of encouragement and strength.
LaVerne’s dedication to education was unmatched. She devoted her career to teaching and mentoring, shaping the lives of countless students over the years. Whether she was teaching in the classroom or guiding others outside of it, LaVerne had a unique ability to inspire those around her with her intellect, kindness, and tireless work ethic. Her students admired her not only for her wisdom but for her deep care and belief in their potential.
