Leroy Duff

Leroy, born February 3, 1931, would like to let you know that his work here is done. He received a call from God on January 24, 2016 at 0700, an offer he couldn’t refuse, for an appointment from which he will not be returning. His assignment comes with a huge reunion with family and friends he has not seen in a long time. His new mission takes him to a wonderful place where he will be socializing, collecting coins and singing until his heart’s content. Music, laughter and love are guaranteed and you never gain an ounce. Leroy left detailed instructions for his wife and children to celebrate his mission here, which has now been completed. Help yourself to what you see and what you don’t see leave it alone. Leroy is preceded in death by his parents, F.E., Jr. and Annie Duff; grandparents, F.E., Sr. and Myrtle Duff and granddaughter, Jamie Lynn Looney. He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Georgia Ann Duff; five children, Deborah (Randy) Skidmore, Howard Duff, Kay (Larry) Ezell, Cheryl Duff, and Donna (Phil) Herring; sister, Mary Louise Waddle; nieces, Mary Ann, Jeannie, and Sandy; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Burial to follow.
