Linda J. Wood, 78, of Sherwood, died on August 29, 2021. She leaves behind her husband of 58 years, Marvin “Buddy” Wood; daughter Annette (Armand) Tomany; three brothers, Morris Smith, Preston (Margaret) Smith, and Harold (Martha) Smith; innumerable nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Linda was born in Woodson, Arkansas, on June 11, 1943, to Essie and James Garfield Smith, Sr. She is preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, and five brothers. A memorial service is not scheduled at this time.
The family would like to thank the people at Sherwood Rehabilitation & Nursing for their outstanding care of and love for Linda during the last two years of her life.
