Margaret (Voegele) Newby, 92 of Sherwood, left us December 22nd to be with our Heavenly Father. She was preceded in death by husband Ben Newby, daughter Gloria Howard, parents Louis & Ruth Voegele, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Survivors include sister DeLois Mantooth (Opie) of Jacksonville, daughters Peggy Flash of Texas City, Lois Cavin (Charles), Sue Williford (John), and Rose Mosley (Bill) all of Sherwood. She also has 7 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, other family members and friends. A celebration memorial will be held at Sylvan Hills Community Church, 8019 Hwy 107, Sherwood, on Saturday, January 6th at 11:00 am. The family would like to thank Lakewood Health & Rehab for the love and care given Mother these past two years In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sherwood Animal Shelter or charity of your choice.
