Just saw this. So very sorry for your loss. Mark's dad worked with my son's dad. Bobby was so good to my son, Leslie Hearon, who had a traumatic brain injury in 1987. His dad died in July 1994 and Mark's dad continued to keep in contact with my son until his sudden death in September that same year. He was a great person. Was sorry to see by the obituary that Kathy had died also. All that family was special and I'm sure Mark followed in their footsteps. My prayers will be with you and your daughter

Mark fought such a good fight. He continued to beat the odds. We are going to miss him so much. The outpouring of love and prayers for Mark and his family have been amazing. I had the privilege of working with Mark for twenty four years. He was a good friend to me and my family. There is no doubt there will never be another Mark Sober. We used to joke how he could do more in two days then the average person could do in a month. The fish and deer population is going to grow now. Rest in peace my friend. We miss you so much already.
Love Mike and Beth Taylor

We had the pleasure of meeting Mark, Brandy and Bevin when they became our neighbors at Brady JDock. Mark and his family were so sweet and Mark would lend a hand with whatever you needed help with. We were so sad when they recently sold their boat. He courageously fought a long and hard battle. He will be missed by many. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family & friends during this difficult time. RIP

When I moved to North Little Rock in 11th grade (1987) - Mark quickly became one of my best friends. He was always making me laugh and was always there to listen when needed. Even though I haven’t seen him in many years - it seems like just yesterday that we were hanging out and driving around in his cool 4x4 truck. I am so sorry to hear of his passing. I wish I still lived in Arkansas - as I would love to attend the funeral and pay my respects. I am praying for his wife and daughter. God bless them and keep them during this difficult time.

I remember Mark as happy kid, tagging along with his Mom and Dad at family gatherings. He reminded me of Bobby quite a bit.

On behalf of his great Aunt Katie, Uncle Bill, my sister Angie, her husband Richard, her children Dale and Kit Brown, myself and my three sons, Ty, Cort and Connor, our thoughts and prayers are with his wife, daughter, extended family and friends.
