

Marvia L Ready-Dugger, 78 of North Little Rock, was born July 11, 1937 to the late Johnnie and Alberta Ready in Galloway, Arkansas. She’s was the sixth of eleven surviving children. Proceeded her in death daughter, Angela K Albright and son, Reginald L Dugger. She is survived by her husband Roland H. Dugger of North Little Rock, Arkansas and daughter, Sharon D Ready-Settles of San Antonio, Texas, four grandchildren, Kareem L. Settles of Houston Texas, Zachary A. Settles of Tucson Arizona, Casey L. Settles of San Antonio, Texas and Breylon Henderson of North Little Rock, Arkansas. Three brothers Cornell, Hollis (Betty) and James Ready of North Little Rock, Arkansas, seven sisters, Nadine Simmons and Doretha Oliver of Chicago Illinois, Zelda Jones and Jewel Horton,of North Little Rock, Arkansas, Thelma Joshua of Little Rock, Arkansas, Algerine Loving (Willie) and Gladistine Allison of Jacksonville Arkansas. A host of other nephews, nieces, family and friends will miss her dearly. Marvia was a member of Holly Grove AME Church, she served on the Usher board. She graduated from Pulaski County Training School, class of 1954. She worked for many years at JM products as a Line Supervisor and One Trip Beauty Supply. Many family and friends will remember her exceptional good cooking to include delicious coconut cakes, pies and a host of other desserts. She enjoyed fishing, casinos, planting flowers and entertaining many family members and friends.
