Mary had a warm and welcoming spirit—she never met a stranger and found joy in connecting with others, sharing stories, and listening with genuine interest. She attended Sylvan Hills Hig h School, where she was active in sports, and throughout her life she enjoyed fishing, bowling, and golfing—activities that brought her both happiness and meaningful time with loved ones.
A devoted member of St. Theresa’s Catholic Church in Roosevelt, Arizona, Mary’s faith was a guiding presence in her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John (Barbara) Wiley, and her siblings Alma Adams, Evelyn Einfeldt, Eva Jean French, Jay Wiley, Herbert Wiley, and John Wiley.
Mary is lovingly remembered by her children, John (Shelia) Uekman, Debra (Rachel Perez) Uekman, and Sharon Einfeldt-Fisher; her grandchildren, Chadley Uekman and Christy (Larry) Uekman Richardson; and her great-grandchildren, Bryce Richardson and Brynlee Richardson. Her legacy of kindness, resilience, and love will live on in all who knew her.
