Mary B. Goodwin
October 2, 1921 – October 11, 2020
On October 11th, 2020, Mary Frank Baker Goodwin passed away in Collierville, TN in her daughter's home where she lived for 10 years. Mary was born in Harrison, AR to Bryan Sidney Baker and Merle Toney Baker on October 2nd, 1921. She had one sister, Virginia Fulkerson. Mary lived a healthy and productive life for 99 years. She was married to Bill Goodwin, an Air Force pilot, and together they had 4 children. Mary loved being a military wife, and even spent time in France. Mary worked in business as a secretary many years before retiring, and served as President of her business sorority, Beta Sigma Phi. She lived in the Lakewood House in North Little Rock for many years. She made great friends and wonderful memories there before moving to Collierville. Of her four children she is survived by Gary Goodwin (wife Andrea Goodwin) of Little Rock, AR, and Jane Woloshyn (husband Brooks Woloshyn) of Collierville, TN. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The family is incredibly grateful to Mary's devoted caregiver Linda Cole and Amedisys, who enabled her to live at home with comfort and love. Mary was a member of Collierville United Methodist Church (and previously Lakewood United Methodist Church) and lived as a devout Christian, giving her love to everyone. She will be greatly missed by all.
A Graveside Service will be held at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 17, 2020 at Rest Hills Memorial Park, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, Arkansas.
