Mrs. Mary "Mary Lou" Louise Hudkins

Mary Lou Hudkins of North Little Rock was born Nov. 9 1932 in Benton Harbor, Michigan to Earl A and Marcia “Ellsworth” Cloud. Mary Lou passed away March 8. 2022 in Rochester, Indiana. She was married to George Hudkins for 60 years, he preceded her in death. Leaving to cherish her memory are her children, Robert “Bob” (Linda) of Rochester, Indiana, Diane (Bill Sosebee) of North Little Rock, AR, Kenneth “David” (Terry) of Cabot and Paul (Gina) Of Nashville, AR. Other survivors include her sisters, Earline O’Blenis and Wanda Townsend both of Rochester, Indiana, as well as 8 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her husband George, her parents and a brother Earl Ellsworth “Bud” Cloud. Mary Lou was a remarkable wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, she enjoyed painting landscapes, golfing with the girls and bowling. She and George had great times traveling with their siblings and friends. She worked hard beside her husband, but she always said her most important job was to raise her children to be strong and independent. "Job well done Mother". She retired from the North Little Rock Municipal Courts.

She was a member of Lakewood United Methodist Church. A funeral service will be held Friday March 18th 2022 1 PM at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, AR 72117 Burial will be in Rest Hills Memorial Park. In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Alzheimer of Ark.
