We loved this lady as a member of our family. We spent many happy times with her and Charles, even taking a long “genealogy” trip to Atlanta and back. She was like a sister to us and we will remember those fun times with her. We will miss her yet knowing that she’s with Jesus and her loved ones.

Betty, just want you to know that you are in my prayers, and you are
on the prayer list at Berea. I pray that you feel the loving, comforting arms of Jesus around you. We know that in Jesus, your mom is more alive than ever before. And the next time you see her she will be whole and with a perfect body. We look forward to that day when we have that "Glad Reunion Day" as the old song says.
Love you.

Remember Mrs. Shepard when she was the librarian at Sylvan Hills High School. Trish and I used to see her and Charles eating at Two Sisters occasionally. They were both a joy to see. Remember going to the drive through and secretly buying their lunch. We asked the waitress to tell them they had won a free lunch. Your family is in our prayers.

It was a pleasure working with Oleta at Sylvan Hills High School in the late 70’s and early 80’s. I appreciated her help and enjoyed her humor.
