She was born October 31, 1953 in Paragould, AR to Jerry Merle Gramling and Norma Lee Owens.
Coming from a large farming family in Greene County she was raised with the importance of family instilled in her from the beginning.
Nan grew up loving the Cardinals and attended many games with her grandfather who was a scout for the team and continued the tradition with her own family.
She and her siblings enjoyed going to watch the Razorbacks play and taught her grandchildren to Call the Hogs before they could walk.She was a Parrot Head at heart and loved spending time on her boat at the lake but most of all she loved her family, especially her grandchildren.
Survivors include her only daughter, Heather (Shawn) Carroll ; grandchildren, Hayden Carroll, and Sailor Carroll;and four siblings, Pam Thompson (Charles), Mike Gramling, Marty (Andrea) Gramling, and Becky (Brian) Hobby; and numerous nieces and nephews and greats.
A celebration of life will take place at the home of her daughter on Sunday Oct. 1 starting at 2:00.
