Patricia Louise Gault
November 30, 1938 – March 11, 2019
Patricia Louise Gault (Williams), 80, of North Little Rock was welcomed into heaven on March 11, 2019 surrounded by her children. She was born in San Antonio, Texas on November 30, 1938.
She grew up in Little Rock, attending St. Edwards Catholic School and Mount St. Mary's Academy where her friends knew her as "Patty Lou." She remained close with her high school friends throughout her life. As a mother, her lovable spirit is what made her home a warm place to be for her four children and the neighborhood kids. On more than one occasion, she welcomed family and friends who needed a temporary home. Her welcoming spirit was undeniable. Being a mother was always Patricia's favorite job. Her maternal nature led her to coach basketball and cheer at her childrens' countless softball games as the official team mom. Old movies were Patricia's favorite. It was often we could catch her watching Breakfast at Tiffany's, Guess Who's Coming to Dinner, or The Bells of Saint Mary's. Watching movies with Mom was a treat because she could tell you all you wanted to know about the actors and actresses. Her Catholic heritage was deeply important in her life, and she passed down this rich faith to her children. She sacrificed a great deal to give her children the Catholic education she believed they needed and deserved. Patricia's father graduated from Notre Dame University, a fact which she was always proud of. Singing the Notre Dame fight song was a great pleasure of hers as it reminded her of her father and her Irish heritage. Patricia's loving spirit will live on in her children and grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Kirwin and Katherine Williams, her sisters, Joan Billings and Susan Catlett and her niece, Melissa Catlett. She is survived by her sister, Mary Ellen Gain and her children, Mark (Becca), Tracy (Chris), Paula (Mark) and Tricia (Chad). She had 10 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
