Patsy Ruth Tollett, 85, of North Little Rock, went to her heavenly home on August 16, 2022. She was born to John LeRoy and Edith Irene Lewis on January 16, 1937, in Saratoga, Arkansas. She graduated from Saratoga High School and Texarkana Business College. She worked as an Executive Assistant before becoming a mother to two cherished daughters.
Patsy was a member of Central Baptist Church in North Little Rock for nearly twenty years. Most recently, while living with her daughter, she attended Park Hill Baptist Church with her family.
Patsy enjoyed art, sewing, word jumbles, spending time with her family, and watching mysteries on television. More than that, Patsy cherished time in God’s Living Word and was a devoted prayer warrior. She was also a member of the Women’s Auxiliary of Gideon’s International and worked to get The Holy Bible into the hands of as many people as possible.
Patsy R. Lewis married her beloved, James R. Tollett, on May 29, 1953. They were blissfully married for 65 years until Jim’s passing in 2018. Patsy is survived by her sister, Alice Knighton, and two daughters: Pamela Mantooth (husband, Rocky Mantooth) and Karen Trautman (husband, Michael Trautman). She is also survived by three grandchildren - Mitchell Martin, Davis Martin, and Victoria Mantooth - and seven great-grandchildren.
Patsy’s life will be celebrated on Monday, August 22, at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock. Visitation will be from 1-2 PM, followed by a service and entombment at Rest Hills Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the North Little Rock Gideon’s International and/or the Park Hill Baptist Church Mission Fund.
