Pauline Marie Arnold, 83, of Sherwood passed away Saturday, February 8, 2020. She was born in Gatewood, Missouri to parents Vernie and Virgie Barton on November 11, 1936. She was married to J. W. Arnold on February 10, 1957. Pauline was an employee of AT&T, retiring after many years of service. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband J. W. Arnold; son, Gary Arnold, daughter-in-law Cindy Hartwick; grandson, Michael Hartwick; brothers Carl Barton, Harold Barton, Bill Barton, Bob Barton and sister, Carolyn (Kitty) Carpenter.
Pauline and Jake had four sons and an adopted son that survive her, Robert Arnold, Richie Arnold and wife, Kristy, Chris Arnold and wife, Jean and Shane Arnold. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and siblings Vernon Ray Barton, Shirley Lee Clifton and Jessie Crom. Pauline loved her boys and she loved her church.
Funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 13 at Indianhead Baptist Church in Sherwood with a visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be at Arkansas Memorial Garden immediately following the service.

Polly was my neighbor for 50 years with a beautiful Christian spirit. She and I enjoyed talking about our flowers and plants during the summer months when we both were outside. She will be missed in our neighborhood.

What a great lady. Enjoyed being a part of Indianhead Lake Baptist Church as music director. She always and a kind word for me and the music programs we always did. She will be missed.
