

Obituary for Philip (Phil) Saffell It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Phil, aged 81, who left us peacefully on December 21, 2024. A devoted family man and cherished friend, Phil lived a life marked by dedication, service, and love. For 42 years, Phil was a valued employee of Southwestern Bell, where his commitment and work ethic earned him the respect and admiration of colleagues and customers alike. He took great pride in his career, finding joy in connecting people through the power of communication. A proud member of the Masonic Lodge, Phil was deeply involved in his community. His passion for service extended beyond his Masonic commitments as he also dedicated his time as an adult leader in the International Order of Rainbow for Girls organization, guiding and mentoring young people with kindness and wisdom. His influence on the lives of those he touched will be felt for years to come. Outside of his professional and community work, Phil found solace in nature. An avid outdoorsman, he loved hunting and fishing, often sharing these cherished experiences with family and friends. His stories of adventure and the tranquility of the great outdoors brought joy and laughter to all who gathered around him. Phil leaves behind Wife-Carolyn Saffell. Daughter- Maranda (Mandy) Saffell Cook, Daughter- Melissa Saffell Tanner, Granddaughter- Mynessia Cook and a host of friends and loved ones who will forever treasure his memory. As we say goodbye to this kind man, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy of kindness, leadership, and love will continue to inspire all who knew him. Rest in peace, dear Phil. Your spirit will forever shine bright in our hearts.
