With heartfelt sorrow, we announce the passing of Regina Kaye Alston, of Cabot, Arkansas, who departed this life on October 26, 2025, at the age of 67.
Born on August 25, 1958, in Bradenton, Florida, Regina was the youngest of five children born to the late Bernard and Gertha Alston. She was raised by a loving aunt and uncle, the late Claymon and Ethel Moore, in Rich Square, North Carolina, where she graduated from W.S. Creecy High School. She continued her education at Trenton State College, earning degrees in Secretarial Science and Business Administration, and later pursued a degree in Paralegal Studies in Lawrenceville, New Jersey.
After graduation, Regina pursued a career as a Financial Assistant with Merrill Lynch Wealth Management in Trenton, New Jersey, where she was known for her professionalism, dedication, and industriousness.
She was a devoted partner to John Alford, who preceded her in death. She leaves her two children, Jonathan Alston of Morrisville, PA and Darice Hollister of Barnegat, NJ to cherish her memory. Regina is also survived by her loving sisters, Cassandra Alston and Wanda Bailey (husband Jesse Bailey). Her siblings, Daryia Alston and Bernard Alston, were welcomed into eternity before her and their memories were always held close to her heart.
In her final days, Regina was compassionately cared for by Arkansas Hospice and the dedicated staff of CHI St. Vincent Hospital in Little Rock, Arkansas. Her family is deeply grateful for the devoted care, comfort, and dignity they provided. The love and care of her devoted friend Charlotte Flowers-Weston of Cabot, AR, throughout her illness will forever be cherished and appreciated.
