Richard Habrle, age 79, went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 10, 2020. He was born on August 9, 1941 to the late Joseph T. and Thelma Habrle. He was the grandson of immigrants from Hungary. He was married and survived by his beloved wife Cecelia for 57 years and their only son Daryl Thomas Habrle, along with his three children by marriage, Aleta (Ricky) Frazier, Greg (JoAngela) Gann, and Bruce (Dottie) Gann. He is also survived by six grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
Papa Richard loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and was saved as an adult. He faithfully served at Levy Baptist where he worshipped and attended. He was also a member of 2nd Baptist in Conway, Arkansas. He may be absent from the body but he present with the lord.
Richard served during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Germany and loved his country and was later honorably discharged. He was a very accomplished workman. He always volunteered at the Habitat for Humanity and loved helping people that were in need. Papa Richard possessed a servant’s heart and left those of his family with a Godly blueprint of just how amazing he was. He got the plans and instructions from Gods word and now his family will be able to hold those precious memories of him forever.
We will always hold him closely in a special place in our hearts until the day we all meet again around the throne of God in Heaven.
