

Richard Glen Melton, 78, of North Little Rock, AR, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 30, 2025. He was born September 6, 1946, to the late Fletcher and Janie Melton of Frisco City, Alabama. Glen made his living as an Electrical Salesman. Cars brought great joy to Glen’s life. In the 80’s, he was active in the Classic Car circuit, showing off his ‘55 Chevy. In his later years, Glen enjoyed spending time with family and friends, especially his neighbors in Arbor Oaks. He could be found on Saturday nights at the I-30 Speedway, racing his hobby stock race car, and on Sunday morning at Kellogg Valley Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Deborah (Debbie) Barrington Melton; brothers James Thomas (JT), Sidney Malachi, Tommy Jack, John Racho, Charles Kenneth, Fletcher Jackson Jr. (FJ); sisters Mazie Mosley and Doris (Dot) Majors.
He is survived by son Keith (Eimear) Melton, of North Little Rock, AR, and daughter Amanda (Eric) Duquette, of San Mateo, CA; 6 grandchildren Richard Allan, Owen, Gavin, Graham, Monroe, and Arcadia; brother George (Carolyn) Melton; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and extended family and friends.
