Robert E. Morgan, Sr., 75, of North Little Rock passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022. Robert was born on February 27, 1946 in North Little Rock; the son of Basil and Lorraine Morgan. He was a retired Teamster, Local 878, who worked for Jones Truck Line and ABF Freight. He served in the Army National Guard for 41 years, retiring as Chief Warrant Officer 4. He was a member of the Church at Willow Beach.
Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory, his daughters Shannon Pinkerton and fiancé Dewayne George of Benton, Holly Shields and her husband Clint of Benton; son Robert E. Morgan Jr. of North Little Rock, five grandchildren; his brother Donald Ray Morgan and wife Sue of Perryville; and his sister Martha Bridges of Kingsport, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, and his wife of 48 years Donna Morgan (2013), and a son-in-law Bryan Pinkerton (2016).
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 10, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00pm at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock. Funeral services will be Friday, February 11, 2022 beginning at 2:00 pm in the funeral home. Entombment will follow in Rest Hills Memorial Park.
