

He was born on April 27, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois, to Robert James Pleasant and Evora Pleasant. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Michele Pleasant.
Robert leaves behind a loving family who will forever cherish his memory: his devoted wife of 50 years, Sandra Pleasant; his sons, Glenn Jr., Mark (Renata Pleasant), and Michael (Trista Pleasant); his sister, Cugini Madison (Willie Madison); and his 13 beloved grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.
A hardworking and dedicated man, Robert spent much of his life in construction and as a car salesman. He took great pride in providing for his family and built lasting relationships wherever he went. In his free time, he enjoyed watching movies, visiting the casino, shooting pool, following sports, listening to music, and dancing.
Robert was known for his kind and generous spirit. He was always willing to lend a helping hand and had a special gift for making others laugh and brightening their day. He loved his family and friends deeply, and his warmth and sense of humor will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He never met a stranger and would help anyone in need.
Visitation will be held on May 2, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service at 3:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth Funeral Home.
