Rodolfo Portillo

Rodolfo Portillo was born on October 28, 1951 in Usulután, El Salvador, the son of Laura Portillo and Cecilio Guevara, both originally from Usulután. Throughout his life he was known for his love of family, his joy, dedication to work, and his generosity, always willing to serve and his unwavering faith in Jesus Christ until the last day of life.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Maria Genoveva Del Cid De Portillo, who departed into the presence of the Lord on May 8, 2021. Rodolfo leaves a legacy of love and memories that will live forever in the hearts of his loved ones.

He is survived by his sisters Isabel Portillo and Esperanza Portillo de Escobar, as well as his brother Secundino Guevara.

He is also survived by his children: Rodolfo Alberto Portillo Del Cid, Walter Antonio Portillo Del Cid, Amilcar Giovanni Canales, Maria Anabel Rodas Portillo.

He also leaves behind his beloved grandchildren: Daniel Alejandro Portillo Landaverde, Julio Portillo, Aleah Rosalie Portillo, Mateo Alberto Portillo Landaverde, and Isaiah Walter Portillo.

His memory will remain alive in those who had the privilege of knowing him and sharing moments with him. Though we mourn his passing today, we cling to the promise of eternal life and the comfort of knowing that he rests in the presence of the Lord.

Con la esperanza que encontramos en nuestro Señor Jesucristo, anunciamos el fallecimiento de nuestro amado padre, abuelo, hermano, y amigo Rodolfo Portillo.

Rodolfo Portillo nacio el 28 de octubre de 1951 en Usulutan, El Salvador, hijo de Laura Portillo y Cecilio Guevara, ambos originarios de Usulutan. A lo largo de su vida fue conocido por su amor a la familia, su alegría, dedicación al trabajo, y su generosidad, siempre dispuesto a servir y su fe inquebrantable en Jesucristo hasta el ultimo dia de vida.

Fue precedido en la muerte por su amada esposa, Maria Genoveva Del Cid De Portillo, quien partió a la presencia del Señor el 8 de mayo de 2021. Rodolfo deja un legado de amor y recuerdos que vivirán para siempre en el corazón de sus seres queridos.

Le sobreviven sus hermanas Isabel Portillo y Esperanza Portillo de Escobar, así como su hermano Secundino Guevara.

También le sobreviven sus hijos: Rodolfo Alberto Portillo Del Cid, Walter Antonio Portillo Del Cid, Amilcar Giovanni Canales, Maria Anabel Rodas Portillo.

Asimismo, deja a sus amados nietos: Daniel Alejandro Portillo Landaverde, Julio Portillo, Aleah Rosalie Portillo, Mateo Alberto Portillo Landaverde, y Isaiah Walter Portillo.

Su memoria permanecerá viva en todos aquellos que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo y compartir momentos con él. Aunque hoy lloramos su partida nos aferramos a la promesa de la vida eterna y al consuelo de saber que descansa en la presencia del Señor.

“Porque para mi el vivir es Cristo Y el morir es ganancia” Filipenses 1:21
